Dr. Dan was born in Guelph, Ontario and grew up in the picturesque village of Terra Cotta in Halton Hills. He attended Georgetown High School prior to studying Human Kinetics at the University of Waterloo. While in the co-op program at Waterloo, Dr. Vandervoort did several work terms at a variety of interesting placements including the Ontario Police College and Canadian Psychiatric Research Institute (CPRI) in London. Dr. Dan completed his education at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) graduating with clinical and academic honours in 1987.

Dr. Vandervoort has many interests related to sports and fitness including running, triathlons, golf and badminton. He competes in several races per year and keeps fit training on his own and at local fitness facilities. He is an enthusiastic fan of the sport of ringette following his daughter Marieve all over the province. Outside of these activities, he is active in his church in Orleans where he assists in marriage prep courses and fundraising. Daniel is a lover of nature and plants hundreds of trees each spring to help the local environment.

In his practice, Dr. Dan applies his knowledge of nutrition, natural medicine and exercise combined with chiropractic care to help his patients achieve the best possible results. He enjoys taking care of people of all ages using the most appropriate techniques whether that be traditional adjustments, Sigma Computerized Instrument Adjusting, cold laser therapy or a combination of these proven methods. In addition to his many years of experience, Dr. Vandervoort has kept up to date with the most modern technologies available in his profession and introduced them to both offices.

Dr. Vandervoort divides his busy schedule between the Rockland Chiropractic Clinic and the Beacon Hill Chiropractic Clinic. Patients can be seen at either office pending availability. Dr. Vandervoort enjoys preparing short videos on nutrition, exercise and chiropractic care for patients and the general public as well as articles.
